Gentle Neck Side Bends
Neck lateral mobility, upper trapezius release, cervical spine health
Minimum Effective Dose
1 min
The shortest time that still creates real, measurable change. Hit the dose and the benefit starts. Everything after is bonus.
Why it works
Lateral neck flexion releases the upper trapezius and scalenes, which are muscles that get chronically tight from desk work and stress. Gravity-assisted stretching is safer than forcing range.
How to do it
Ear toward shoulder. No forcing.
Let gravity do the work. Opposite shoulder stays heavy. Breathe into the stretch side. Tingling or sharp sensation: ease off immediately.
