Seated Knee Extension–Flexion
Knee joint health, quadriceps activation, synovial fluid production
Minimum Effective Dose
1 min
The shortest time that still creates real, measurable change. Hit the dose and the benefit starts. Everything after is bonus.
Why it works
Gentle, controlled knee extension and flexion produces synovial fluid, which lubricates and nourishes the joint cartilage. It's joint nutrition through movement.
How to do it
Straighten and bend. Slow both ways.
Seated, extend one leg fully, then fold back. Control the whole range. Pain-free only. This is joint nutrition, not a stretch goal.
- Sit on a chair or the floor with one leg bent
- Slowly straighten the leg fully
- Slowly fold it back with control in both directions, staying pain-free throughout
- This is joint nutrition, not a stretch goal
