Shift
Breathwork protocols for shifting your nervous system state. Each mode targets a specific autonomic transition.
What Shift is
Shift is a set of breathwork protocols, each built to move your nervous system from one state to another. Where most breathing apps hand you a single generic exercise, Shift matches the pattern to the transition you actually need: winding up, winding down, or steadying out.
Every protocol has a minimum effective dose, the shortest practice that still changes your physiology. Most land between one and three minutes. You do not need to sit for twenty minutes to feel the difference.
The patterns are not arbitrary. Slow, long exhales lift parasympathetic tone and calm you down. Faster, balanced breathing raises alertness. A double inhale followed by an extended exhale offloads carbon dioxide and resets a stressed system. Each mode below pairs the right pattern with the state you are trying to reach.

How to use it
Pick the mode that matches where you are and where you want to be, follow the breathing cue, and give it the full dose. Let the pattern do the work rather than forcing it. Pair any Shift protocol with a movement session for a complete reset. Browse the exercise library →
